German Wirehaired Pointers

German Wirehaired Pointer

A well muscled medium sized hunting dog of distinctive appearance.  Balanced in size and sturdily built, the breed's most distinguishing characteristics are its weather resistant, wire-like coat and facial furnishings.  Typical pointer in character and style, the German Wirehaired Pointer is an intelligent, energetic and determined hunter.

A medium sized, short coated hunting dog that originated in Hungary, the Vizsla was bred to work in the field, forest and water.  Agile and energetic, this is a versatile dog of power, drive and endurance in the field yet an affectionate companion in the home.
